Artemision Bronze
Mask of the Artemision Bronze. The original ancient greek sculpture was recovered from the sea off Cape Artemision in northern Euboea, Greece. The bronze either represents Zeus the thunder-god and king of gods, or Poseidon, though most scholars agree on Zeus and that the figure would have held a lightning bolt.
